It became clear to Lehman during studies of ancient astrology that there were techniques that, until recently, had been forgotten. The task of Classical Astrology today has two areas: to recover these ancient techniques, and also to understand them within a modern context. Lehman believes that the study of classical astrology can greatly improve all astrology, regardless of whether the practitioner chooses to adopt a Classical or Neo-classical approach.
