Composed of bones and meru beads carved in the shape of a skull, the 108-bead Bone With Skull Mala looks like it's made of meerschaum or some other fine clay. Please note: No animals were slain for the purpose of obtaining the bones. Since little grows in Tibet, Buddhists there are allowed the use of meats in their diets. The bones in this Mala are a byproduct.
