When Avgerinos graduated from the Peabody Conservatory of Music in 1980, he had already performed as a bassist with Isaac Stern and other great classical artists. After serving as principal bass with several major symphony orchestras, he expanded into popular music, touring with the likes of Liza Minelli and Buddy Rich. While producing albums by Run DMC and Jewel, among others, he also created his own series of New Age solo albums. This one features cellist David Darling and other guests.
