Keyboardist Shulman, creator of Light from Assisi, composed this CD's title track for the Open Space Coalition, an organization that turns empty lots in New York City into public gardens and parks. Other tunes were written for Shulman's brand new nephew, his mother, and a stranger named Lydia. The final piece, Compassion, came in a dream not only to complete the suite he was working on, but to help him integrate compassion into his life.
