The Brad Dutz Obliteration Percussion quartet was founded in 1996 to play a recycling fair in Hollywood. The compositions are for saladbowls, brakedrums, hubcaps, pots, cookietins, icecube trays, firebells, artillery shells, bundtpans, marbles, and many other found objects. The music is rhythmic and humorous, and emphasizes creativity and improvisation. All of the members of the quartet are professional freelance percussionists living in Los Angeles.
