Like all of Coyote Oldman's previous work, this new album features real flutes, made of wood, cane, bone or clay, not samples or synthesizers. Michael Graham Allen, the principal flute player, made them himself except for two whistles made by his children. At this point my art as well as my goals, work, spiritual and family life are all flowing together like the quiet river by my home and workshop, he says, the Otter River.
