When David Michael plays his Celtic harp outdoors, the wind adds a ghostly dimension to the harp's voice-an elusive sound which is difficult to capture cleanly on a recording. Isle of Winds succeeds in doing just that. Michael's suite for solo harp includes many passages where he responds musically to the wind. Though Michael has produced world fusion recordings for over a quarter century, he is best known for his solo Celtic harp. This is his first solo harp recording in ten years.
