Dixit Dominus Domino meo: Sede a dextris meis ("The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou on my right hand"), Psalm CIX in the Vulgate numbering, is the first of the five psalms of the Roman office of Vespers on Sundays and a number of major feast days. Its frequent use as part of Vespers has led to a number of musical settings. This CD features five versions, including three by Mozart and one by Handel, and other liturgical works.
