First released on the island of Bali in 1986, this recording features the beauty of the Balinese landscape overlaid with the otherworldly sounds of Devi's flutes and Indo-jazz fusion group. Each composition is a bridge between the ancient sounds of Asia and today's multicultural environment, interweaving Balinese temple processions, village chants, and choruses of frogs and crickets with silver and Indian bamboo flutes, sarods, tablas, esraj, guitars, piano, and the traditional Balinese gamelan.
