Cibelle's acting and modeling career took a detour when Suba asked her to be the main vocalist on Sao Paulo Confessions. Now a well-known singer and composer in Brazil, she contributed tracks to Suba's Tributo, Juryman's Escape to Where, Celso Fonseca's Natural, The Now Sound of Brazil and Freezone 7. Her self-titled solo debut covers a wide spectrum of sounds: bossa nova, electronic downtempo, samba soul, jazz and even psychedelic post-rock. Sung in both English and Portuguese, it's produced by Brazil's Apollo 9 and mixed by Morcheeba's Chris Harrison and Pete Norris.
