Don't Camp Out In The Garden Of Eden is a compilation of over 20 years of teaching, counseling, and facilitating open forums. The
first two chapters personify the author's great sense of humor before getting into the meat of the book. While tools are essential in
the learning process, you ultimately have to remove the training wheels from the bike in order to master the ride. You must leave the
Garden, as Siddhartha did, to find your own truth.
When your beliefs, religious or otherwise, take precedence over good common sense and scientific information, you throw away
your reasoning powers and abilities. Superstition is the serpent that crawls and hisses in every Eden and fastens its venomous
fangs in the hearts of humanity. As thinking human beings, it is our nature to seek solutions to our problems. There have been many
promising hope, but few offer solutions. I know vou want to get to the next century peacefully, and you want answers to your
questions. I, too, am tired of all of the reruns and bull shi$ that some of our leaders of society are ignoring.
If you don't know how to recognize truth you will continue to not only judge others but he a servant to other people's belief
systems. It is necessary to your peace of mind that you are mentally faithful to yourself. What causes our unhappiness in life?
Simple. It is professing to believe what you do not understand.
Everyone has a story and expresses their stories diversely. I have chosen the written word. Some of my friends love me for my
bluntness. Others don't. Among my many discoveries over the years, the one that stands out most is a line from a poem I wrote at
13 years of age: Although pen and ink can lead to truth, it cannot touch it.
Daphna Moore certainly marches to a different drummer. Since her "merging with the light" experience in
1977 , she has counseled many individuals, held open forums in the USA and abroad. She facilitated classes
at the Mile Hi Church of Religious Science during the early 80's and held a study group for A Course in Miracles
in her home for two years. She lives in Colorado where she continues her practice.
